Think Pair Share (TPS), Mathematical Problem Solving AbilityAbstrak
The aim of this research is to find out whether the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning mode has an effect on the mathematical problem solving abilities of Grade XI class students at Muhammadiyah 18 school. The method used in this research is a quantitative one group pretest-posttest design method. The results of the instrument test analysis showed that the instrument was valid and reliable, in addition, from the results of the data analysis calculations it was found that the sample had a normal distribution. The hypothesis of this research is that there is an influence of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning mode on the mathematical problem solving abilities of Grade XI class students at Muhammadiyah 18 school. Based on the results of calculations using the t test, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely t_count is 2.083, which is greater than t_tabe, namely 2.008. The research results can be useful for related parties such as teachers, students and future researchers.
